We offer a number of Pre and Postnatal Clinical Pilates sessions along with our popular Mums & Bubs sessions. with the addition of our pre and postnatal circuit classes so we are confident we can find a class to suit you!
Who are the classes suitable for?
Classes are suitable for all:
- Expectant mothers (in the absence of any contraindications to exercise)
- Postnatal mothers from 6 weeks post-delivery (vaginal birth or caesarean)
- Anyone looking for a pilates class with a 'pelvic floor safe' focus
Our classes will be led by an experienced and qualified pelvic floor/women's health physiotherapist and will focus on core strength, posture, pelvic floor, flexibility and stability.
Prior to attending our Clinical Pilates classes you will be required to make an appointment to see one of our physiotherapists for a 1:1 clinical assessment. During this appointment we will use a variety of assessment techniques to establish your current level of muscle function and develop a program specific for your needs. We can also address any specific concerns you may have during this private session.
Whether you are experiencing issues associated with your pelvic floor or are simply looking to be supported to stay fit and strong in your pregnancy or postpartum return to exercise, these classes are for you!

How will the classes run?
Our classes will be led by an experienced and qualified pelvic floor/women's health physiotherapist. Classes will include a combination of mat pilates, swiss ball work, equipment based exercises and body weight assisted strength training. Please note that our studio is upstairs with no lift access.

All classes held at 62 Dinah Parade, Keilor East in the upstairs studio (No pram access - mums and bubs we request you bring baby in a carrier or capsule).
Clinical Pilates Initial Assessment (Compulsory for all class attendees):
- Private 1:1 consultation (30 mins) $99
(Private Health Insurance rebate available with extras cover)
After completing the initial assessment, you may then choose from the following payment options:
- Pilates 10 class pack $220 ($22 a session)- 6 month expiry
- Pilates 5 class pack $125 ($25 a session)- 3 month expiry
- Casual Pilates session $30 a session
We encourage you to allocate your 5 pack or 10 pack to the sessions you wish to attend in advance to reserve your spot for that session.
Health insurance rebates: Following the completion of each session that you attend an invoice for that attendance will be emailed to you for private health claiming.
PLEASE NOTE: a 24 hour cancellation policy applies to all bookings including Pilates and Circuit class bookings. If you do not notify us of you absence in advance the fee for that class will be forfeited.
Are there any special considerations for exercising during pregnancy?
Whilst exercise during pregnancy is generally shown to be very beneficial, there are some conditions which may make it unsuitable for you to exercise during pregnancy. You will be screened for these conditions during your 1:1 assessment.
