Join us for an intimate workshop hosted in our studio space discussing what you need to know about your pelvic floor and preparing your body for birth

 

Aims of the session include:

  • To educate expecting parents about pelvic floor anatomy, the role of the pelvic floor in labour and essential techniques to optimise their pelvic floor function during childbirth.

  • To provide hands-on demonstrations and guidance to empower participants with practical skills like perineal massage, labour positions, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises for pain management and a smoother labour experience.

  • To facilitate a supportive and inclusive learning environment that empowers expectant parents.

You will cover topics such as:

  • Preparing your pelvic floor for labour

  • The Role of the Pelvic Floor in Pregnancy and Labour

  • Relaxation of the pelvic floor in the lead up to delivery

  • How to perform Perineal Massage

  • Labour positions for active labour

  • Pain management strategies for labour

  • Practice +/- hire Obstetric TENS for labour


INTRODUCTORY OFFER $180 per couple*

*You are welcome and encouraged to bring a support person e.g. partner, friend, sibling, parent etc.

Light refreshments provided along with a sample pack to take home per participating pair.
